Gluten Free Recipe
Over 3 million Americans are gluten-free. Just because you are gluten-free doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a PanWaffle. The recipe below makes a delicious and fluffy PanWaffle that is both gluten-free and low in sugar.
- 1 cup brown rice or 1 cup rice flour
- 1⁄2 cup potato starch (NOT Potato Flour)
- 1⁄4 cup tapioca flour
- 3.5 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 cup oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1⁄2 cups buttermilk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Mix all ingredients together with a whisk and let stand for 5 minutes.
Pre-heat PanWaffle for 2 minutes before pouring batter.
Pour (1 cup) into PanWaffle and cook for 1:30.
Hold handles together, flip and cook for an additional 1:30.
Carefully remove PanWaffle and enjoy!
